Building connections across Central and Eastern Europe

How local partnerships strengthen digital transformation in the logistics sector

International growth is not only about entering new markets. It is about building strong relationships, understanding regional challenges, and working closely with customers and partners to develop solutions that create lasting value.

Central and Eastern Europe is undergoing significant transformation. Infrastructure investments, the continued growth of e-commerce, and increasingly complex supply chains are driving demand for more efficient and intelligent logistics operations. For companies in the region, digitalization and automation are becoming essential to building scalable and resilient supply chains.

Creating a platform for knowledge exchange

To support this development, PSI Polska, together with Miebach Consulting and LPP Logistics, organized the first edition of the IntralogConnect meetup in Bucharest. The event brought together representatives from logistics, supply chain management, and IT to discuss the challenges shaping the future of intralogistics.

Topics included warehouse automation, digital transformation, and the growing role of artificial intelligence in improving operational decision-making. Beyond presentations and technology demonstrations, the event gave industry experts an opportunity to exchange experiences and discuss practical approaches to modernizing logistics operations.

Learning from real-world applications

A highlight of the event was a visit to LPP Logistics' new fulfillment center near Bucharest. The highly automated facility demonstrates how software, robotics, and optimized processes can support international logistics operations.

The site plays an important role in LPP's European e-commerce network, combining advanced automation technologies with intelligent warehouse management to handle growing operational demands.

The visit gave participants insights into how digital technologies can improve existing processes while creating a foundation for future expansion.

The event also included a presentation by HAI ROBOTICS, showcasing new approaches to warehouse robotics and highlighting the increasing importance of automation in modern logistics environments.

Growing together through regional expertise

For PSI, initiatives such as IntralogConnect meetup are an important part of international collaboration. They create opportunities to exchange knowledge, strengthen partnerships, and gain a deeper understanding of the challenges companies face in different markets.

By combining international experience with local expertise, PSI Polska supports organizations across Central and Eastern Europe in developing digital, scalable, and future-ready logistics operations.

As markets continue to evolve, close collaboration between technology providers, customers, and industry partners will remain essential for building the supply chains of tomorrow.
