PSI Polska – a key regional hub powering industrial digitalization
From support to market shaper – a transformation success story
PSI Polska began operations in 2004 as part of the PSI Software SE Group.
Over the past two decades, the company has grown dynamically - initially supporting the Group’s global software development activities and subsequently expanding its local market presence through high-value, strategic projects.
Today, PSI Polska employs more than 500 highly skilled professionals across three locations: its headquarters in Poznań and regional offices in Katowice and Szczecin. The company serves as a strategic regional hub for Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and as a key Center of Excellence for software development across the PSI Software SE Group.
Its strong market position is underpinned by solid financial performance, with turnover reaching €47.8 million in 2025. This sustained growth has also earned continued industry recognition, with PSI Polska receiving the prestigious Forbes Diamonds award again in 2026.
Technology driving excellence in logistics, energy, and manufacturing
PSI Polska actively drives digital transformation across three core sectors, delivering tailored, mission-critical software solutions.
Logistics
Advanced software platforms optimize supply chain networks and warehouse operations for major retailers and market leaders, including LPP, Empik, and Inter Cars. These solutions help customers increase operational efficiency, and strengthen their competitive position.
Grid & Energy Management
PSI Polska works closely with major transmission and distribution system operators, helping secure critical national infrastructure through smart grid management, telecontrol, and grid-flexibility solutions.
Manufacturing
Industrial Artificial Intelligence (Industrial AI) and advanced software suites enable industrial enterprises to automate, synchronize, and optimize complex end-to-end production processes that create more efficient, resilient, and increasingly autonomous operations.
Powering CEE – future strategic ambitions
Building on extensive domain expertise and experience gained in Poland, PSI Polska has embarked on a strategic expansion into broader Central and Eastern European markets. Looking ahead, the company aims to accelerate this growth trajectory across both domestic and international markets.
CEE is a dynamic and rapidly developing region with significant demand for comprehensive digital transformation. By combining deep local market expertise with proven software engineering capabilities, PSI Polska is well positioned to contribute to the region’s digital transformation.
A key strategic priority is the continued integration of Industrial AI into operational workflows, helping customers make their operations more autonomous, resilient, and sustainable.
Supporting Poland’s energy infrastructure
Across Poland, PSI supports operators and companies responsible for essential energy and utility infrastructure. Its solutions help them monitor operations, manage disruptions and respond to the changing demands of the energy transition.
Electricity grids and renewable energy
One of Poland’s largest electricity distribution system operators uses several PSI solutions to manage its network and plan future grid development.PSI Polska also supports renewable energy projects. For a Polish renewable energy company, the team has implemented control and protection systems for wind farms, upgraded equipment and communication interfaces, and provided additional engineering services.
Gas grids & pipelines
PSI solutions help companies in Poland’s oil and gas sector monitor pipeline operations and detect and locate leaks, supporting the transportation of crude oil and petroleum products.Another major project involved implementing a new control system for Poland’s largest gas distribution system operator. The project required coordination across multiple workstreams and integration with existing systems. The operator plays an important role in maintaining the security and continuity of the country’s gas supply.
- Water supply and connected infrastructure
In Poznań, the city’s water utility uses PSIscada to monitor and manage its water and wastewater infrastructure, demonstrating PSI Polska’s work beyond the classical energy sector. - Energy management in industry
At the plant of a leading Polish ferroalloys producer, PSIprins supports the monitoring, archiving and control of electrical power processes.
Together, these projects demonstrate PSI Polska’s experience across a range of essential infrastructure applications, from electricity networks and renewable energy to pipelines, public utilities and industrial power supply.
Energy supply in the Polish market – evolving and growing
While many Western European markets are primarily focused on optimizing mature smart-grid infrastructures, Poland is entering a high-growth, capital-intensive phase of grid modernization. The country is rapidly transitioning from a centralized, coal-based energy system toward a more decentralized energy model, creating significant and immediate demand for grid flexibility and advanced energy management software solutions.
In line with the objectives of the energy transition, the share of decentralized energy sources in Poland’s energy mix continues to increase. At the same time, the growing number of distributed generation assets requires energy production to be balanced with changing demand patterns and available transmission capacity in order to prevent overproduction and grid overloads.
Energy storage is one of the key tools available to stabilize the power system. With Poland’s energy transition accelerating, the potential for further growth in the energy-storage market is substantial and is also reflected in the country’s National Energy and Climate Plan.
Focus and activities
Close collaboration with industry associations and educational institutions is an important element of PSI Polska’s strategy. These partnerships help drive innovation, expand the company’s professional network, and strengthen its visibility as a technology and industry thought leader.
ENERGETAB 2026: award-winning innovation for low-voltage grids
From September 15 to 17, 2026, PSI Polska presented its software portfolio and AI expertise for energy utilities at ENERGETAB in Bielsko-Biała, Poland’s largest energy trade fair.
A highlight of the event was the award presented by the Association of Polish Electrical Engineers to PSI Polska for PSIngo, its intelligent low-voltage grid controller.
As electric vehicles, heat pumps and photovoltaic systems become increasingly common, local electricity grids face growing demands. PSIngo is designed to help distribution system operators manage this complexity by identifying potential grid bottlenecks and supporting more effective grid planning and control.
The solution combines grid planning, grid control and grid services, with direct integration into the control system. It can be deployed in the cloud or on-premises, allowing operators to choose the approach that best fits their infrastructure requirements.
The award highlights PSI Polska´s contribution to developing solutions for the changing needs of electricity distribution grids.
